Runescape Tips And Tricks

I have been a member for a long time -- since 2002, been playing on and off. So I know a couple of "tricks" when it comes to leveling up runescape quickly.

Tip 1: Have 2 computers

When you're playing runescape, and doing boring stuff like fishing or leveling up your combat level, you don't have to watch your characters fight all day.

Just click, fish, then surf the internet or read a book or something. Sometimes I'm uploading stuff on the website and I'm waiting for my stuff to finish uploading, so I just fish for fun.

Tip 2: Avoid automine, auto wood cutting programs

Don't recommend it because you can get a virus or trojan with that stuff. What I recommend you to do is just "grind" it out by clicking and doing it, instead of relying on some program to do it for you because -- well, that takes all the fun out of the game doesn't it?

Tip 3: Always set the recovery question

The account I had since 2002 got "hacked" (or should I say, stolen) because I didn't set up the recovery password. The person some how gotten into the account. And the level was high too, like 87 combat level ...

So learn from my mistake and ste your recovery questions. Then, never tell anyone about your runescape password, even if they came to work for Jagex because nobody SHOULD ask for your password -- unless they're a scammer.

Funny story: I was training under the mine near the fishing port, and this guy was like "Do you want 1 mil into your bank account" and I was like, sure. Then he told me that he needs my bank account, so he can log into my account and "transfer the money". Of course I knew it was a scam and kept playing around with him, giving in the wrong password etc. It was funny.
